Self-care is crucial for our physical, emotional and mental well-being. Please read this again!
Self-care is crucial for our physical, emotional and mental well-being.
We're always trying to make room for our obligations, responsibilities, to solve our problems...
and usually we neglect our own plans and needs.
Well I challenge you today to jump on the self-care platform! Quickly! :)
So please... do something today that will remind you that LIFE IS PRECIOUS!
You can start with baby steps:
* Have a cup of your favorite tea while listening to your favorite song
* Call a friend you haven't spoken to for a while
* Go out for drinks and dance!
* Start a journal
Or take the big necessary ones if you've been finding yourself existing instead of living:
* Take the weekend off and travel somewhere!
* Stop overthinking!
* Choose who you spend time with!
If you need me to go first... I'll do that for you: I've just booked 3 days in Paris with my sister and cousins!!
LIFE IS PRECIOUS! DON'T WASTE IT! TAKE A BREAK WHEN YOU NEED IT!
Before anything else, preparation is the key to success.

We had the BEST MEAL EVER at Hotel Quinta da Marinha in Cascais last Saturday! :)
Superb flavors, perfect combinations, divine dégustation!...
We all felt like kings in that evening!
'Please, Sir, I want some more!'
We could not ask about all the chef's secrets... but we could learn one of them that I am sure that plays a key role in his well recognized success:
It took Stefano Catenacci 4 days to prepare our meal!
Think about it... why do we keep on trying to rush the preparation stage?
What would we be capable of if we tried 4 times harder, if we practiced 4 times longer?
***Maybe we could start seeing rewards more often***

Weekend means more time for you! More time to invest in your personal development! So don't waste it!
Here's the challenge: practice a new skill, step out of your comfort zone!
Go for the unexpected and it will be even more fun!
You'll laugh, you'll become more humble, you'll become A MORE INTERESTING PERSON and MORE CONFIDENT (these last 2 always go hand in hand).
Have a Good one!!
I'll try to play Fur Elise By Beethoven on the piano!
That's the new thing at home
(at least for me! My oldest son is in his 3rd year of weekly lessons. He's now teaching me!!)
Slowly I'll get there! :-)
I'm still reading 'Principles' by Ray Dalio (among others ;) )
"Imagine how silly and unproductive it would be to respond to your ski instructor as if he were blaming you when he told you that you fell because you didn't shift your weight properly.
IT'S NOT DIFFERENT IF A SUPERVISOR POINTS OUT A FLAW IN YOUR WORK PROCESS.
FIX IT AND MOVE ON!
Put your insecurities away and get on with achieving your goals.
An accurate criticism is the most valuable feedback you can receive."
