Remind yourself that you are continually leading yourself and others – even if you don’t have a large team reporting to you (yet!) work on your skills and develop them until you’re naturally considered a GREAT LEADER. 1. Have a Clear Vision Take the time to think about your mission, the team’s mission and the company’s mission. Write them down. Make a simple and brief version. It will work even better if you can visit what you wrote every day in your morning routine! This inner voice repeated constantly will drive you forward day after day and it will make a huge difference for your team. It will empower you and give you traction to dream big/ think big. You will see the desired transformation very fast. 2. Ask for More A good leadership is demanding, step away from mediocrity. Average is boring. Reach high, grab the sky! 3. Improve Communication Skills It is very important to be clear and specific when communicating your vision, goals, intentions, and expectations to others. If you add to this also your ability to listen to what other people are consciously or unconsciously communicating you will become a great communicator and that will make a huge difference! Continually strive to improve your verbal, nonverbal, and listening skills. 4. Be Passionate Great leaders have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for the projects they work on. Be dedicated to each team member and to the main purpose of the team. Celebrate small achievements and put your energy into achieving the goals set. Don’t settle. Keep pushing forward with hunger. That will keep your team faithful and your values aligned. John Quincy Adams
