Last Christmas I was offered had a beautiful book! It's about being calm. I consider myself a calm (and patient) person but this book highlighted some very simple things that can relax me and keep me happy when life pushes me to turn me into this nervous and anxious person.
I realized that some of the things I had already started doing a while ago but wasn't truly acknowledging the quick benefits of...
So here it goes:
1. Meditate every day (I personally prefer praying :) I was blessed with the gift of faith)
2. Rediscover the simple appeal of cooking
3. Drink tea - 'it makes you realize the that you have the power of of calming happiness in your hands'
4. Develop your creating skill. I learned to knit 3 years ago: it's powerfully calming. It helps to develop my concentration skills too.
My advice is for you to take time this weekend to figure out how to live a calmer life. Stay calm, breathe, be grateful and enjoy life!
(You'll also be physically and mentally healthier!)
